Multi-Housing is a ministry to assist churches in reaching multi-housing communities including:
  • Apartment communities
  • Mobile home parks
  • Condos
  • Retirement communities
We train churches and volunteers how to enter these communities, obey the rules of the communities, identify needs and plan activities to meet the needs. We also meet with apartment managers to explain the benefits of opening their doors to this free faith-based community service.

News from Multi-Housing Ministries
  • Chets Creek is sponsoring activities in the Huntington Hills apartment community. The church has been trained and church leaders met with the manager to discuss community needs and ideas for church sponsored activities.
  • Arlington answered an urgent call for assistance and provided over sixty backpacks and school supplies to the children at the Regents apartment community. When I called Arlington and explained the need, Robert Anderson, Assistant Pastor replied, “We feel we’ve been presented a service opportunity on a silver platter!”
  • Neptune participated in Family Fest and sponsored summer camps at the Pinewood and Timberwood apartment communities.
  • Highlands sponsored summer activities, a lunch program and had Family Fest groups serve in their ministry at Monaco Arms apartments.
There is an IMMEDIATE OPENING for a church to sesrve in an apartment community. Would you or your church be interested in doing a day camp, tutoring or other children’s activities for apartment children? This can be a one time (test the waters) or ongoing (take the plunge!) activity.

Call Arlene at the association office (727-6800) to learn more about this great commission opportunity.
