Haiti Earthquake Update Our Orphanage in Cabaret survived the quake. Our children are fine. A part of our perimeter wall collapsed, but we are offering our facility as a shelter to those who need it. Right now our main need is monetary donations. We have a system in place to get funds down quickly to meet the immediate needs.  Read more...

Haiti Ministries
Plan to go to Haiti!
Now is the time to plan your mission trip.  Please call or email me or the Merritts if God is leading you to serve in our JBA Haiti Mission next year.  We would love for you to have a life changing experience.  We are seeking to reach Haiti for Jesus!

The Jacksonville Baptist Association Haiti Mission Project was begun in 1998 in response to the great need we saw in the poverty-stricken country of Haiti. It is our desire to raise a generation of Haitian children that will change their nation in the name of Christ.

We are doing this in the small, rural area of
Cabaret, Haiti. We have started a school,a
church and an orphanage. We are also teaching
life and work skills to the adults in the community.

This project is the full responsibility of the
 Jacksonville Baptist Association and its
 partnering churches and agencies. We
 encourage all  interested churches and
individuals to get personally involved in this project, whether by praying regularly for the Haiti Mission Project, placing this project in your church's annual budget, taking a church mission trip to work at our site, and/or regularly sponsoring one of our children through the Haiti Child Sponsorship Program.
